UMW wanted a website that appealed to potential students as well as parents, faculty, staff, graduate students, and alums. Behind the scenes, they needed each department to have extensive control over their area of the site. We used WordPress MultiNetwork codebase, which allows access to dozens of admins, and created custom widgets, allowing them to organize pages while maintaining a cohesive looking site. We used AJAX and custom illustrations to make the site interactive and personal.
